When you stake your ETH through ether.fan, you automatically mint a unique fan NFT. These NFTs come with three distinct attributes: traits, flair, and membership tier.
- Traits are provably rare and randomly assigned at the time of minting, giving your fan character a distinctive personality.
- Flair, on the other hand, dynamically reflects the amount of ETH you've staked, showcasing your commitment.
- Lastly, your Membership tier starts at Bronze and progresses over time, granting you boosted staking rewards.
Your fan NFT represents your staked ETH and continues to accrue staking rewards. Your fans can be upgraded or redeemed for your ETH at any time.

Upgrade and Burn forOptimal Rewards
Want to enhance your fan NFT? You can upgrade it by depositing additional ETH, gaining updated flair and even random boosts to intangible attributes. However, there are limits to prevent monopolization of boosted rewards.
Similarly, you can withdraw your ETH at any time, but reducing the amount in your fan will lower your membership tier. In some cases, withdrawing a significant portion may require burning the fan NFT to retrieve your funds.
